My client is looking for an experienced and confident Homeless Team Leader to join their exciting new Homeless Transformation Project. The successful applicant will have experience directly managing a team of Homeless Caseworkers within a busy environment.
The Team Leader must have at least 3 years' experience directly managing a similar team.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of leading and managing a complex homeless caseworkers' local authority Homeless Prevention service.
- Experience directly managing homeless caseworkers.
- Significant experience in developing and implementing effective commissioning plans to reduce levels of homelessness under the Homeless Reduction Act 2017.
- Coordinate the day to day service of providing housing options and preventing homelessness.
- Ratification and quality checking of case management and decision letters issued.
- To cover front line manager's duty.
- The candidate appointed will be directly responsible for 5 team managers.
- Successfully leading multiple, complex projects involving a range of partners, including senior managers.
- Assist in developing partnership working to enable a holistic No Wrong Door (NWD) approach of the Housing Options Service.
