Agility Resourcing are delighted to be working with a growing wholesaler based in Blackburn. Since opening nearly 13 years ago, my client has done nothing but grow and are now looking at growing their team accordingly. You will work as the Finance Assistant but will be supported by everyone on site. Although the role is starting as a temporary opportunity, there will be an opportunity to go permanent.
Your role:
- Sales and purchase ledgers, journals, and creating P&L management information
- Controlling credit and chasing debt
- Bank reconciliation and foreign payments
- Dealing with any invoice queries and ensuring payment delays are minimised
- Accruals & prepayments, VAT returns, and working with spreadsheets
- Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
- Other ad hoc duties
Person Specification:
- AAT Level 4 or QBE (at least 5 years in a similar role)
- Team player
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Sage 200 (preferred)
In return you will receive:
- Salary equal to £22,000 per annum
- Working week of 8.30-4.30 with an early finish on a Friday
