Project Manager – Water Infrastructure (Civils/MEICA)
Location: Hybrid role with travel to projects across Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent
Employment Type: Permanent
I’m working with a leading civil engineering contractor who are delivering a strong pipeline of clean and waste water infrastructure projects across the South East. They’re now looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to support delivery across a portfolio of schemes in Sussex, Hampshire, and Kent.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility around site attendance and office/home working. The company has a great reputation for investing in their people, and this role offers genuine long-term progression as part of a growing team in the water sector.
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in civil engineering and water infrastructure
- Proven experience managing NEC contracts (including Early Warnings and Compensation Events)
- Familiar with CDM regulations, risk and programme management, and cost control
- Comfortable using Primavera P6 (or similar planning tools)
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- CSCS Manager’s Card, SMSTS, and ideally NEBOSH Construction
- MEICA understanding or capabilities
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work independently and challenge designs when needed
This role would suit someone currently operating as a Project Manager within water or utilities, looking for the opportunity to lead their own projects with greater autonomy and long-term career prospects.
If this sounds like the right move for you, please get in touch for a confidential chat — I’d be happy to talk through the details.
