Kenna Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller to join a Tier 1 Residential Developers on their impressive project in East London. This is a new role to the project, and you will be the sole Document Controller and deal with inputting all drawings and documents onto their new system 4Project Viewpoint. Overview: As a Document Controller, you will work with the Design Manager, Commercial Director and their team to provide a consistent and timely service to the development teams by ensuring that project information/drawings/documentation is managed, communicated, filed and retrievable in accordance with 4Project Viewpoint. Let’s cut to the chase, what’s in it for you… * Salary between £35,000 – £40,000 * Travel allowance * 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and the option to buy up to 5 days per annum * Private Healthcare * Company contributory pension scheme * Life assurance What you will be doing: * All Document Control relating to the design of the project (Drawings / RFIs / Tech Subs / Sample Schedules) * Work closely with the Design Manager and Project lead Liaise with members of the design team and sub-contractors on design issues/queries * Work with the site team to provide basic administrative support * Assist the Project Leader in gathering data for monthly progress/forecast reports and collating the final document for issue * Provide weekly/monthly site stat reports to project manager * Liaise with the Project Lead / Design Manager re the co-ordination of O&M manuals * Audit hard copy folders (Design and H&S) * Provide a reporting and feedback function such that senior managers are fully aware of all documentation issues * Ensure that procedures are fully implemented in order to meet requirements of the BMS and other documentation and information systems * Type up and distribute meeting minutes * Create and customize forms and schedules for site-specific operations * Photocopying / scanning / printing / shredding
