Our client, a well-established and fast-paced fresh produce manufacturer, is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Analyst to join their dedicated team. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience in fresh produce manufacturing, particularly those with a background in quality control or operational roles that included exposure to quality assurance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine quality control checks on incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications.
  • Monitor product integrity, temperature, weight, appearance, and packaging against standards.
  • Accurately record QC data and escalate any non-conformances in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with production and technical teams to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Support internal audits, traceability exercises, and investigations into customer complaints or product issues.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness on the factory floor.

Previous experience in the fresh produce industry is essential. Experience in quality control, technical, or production roles with exposure to QC responsibilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety, HACCP principles, and retailer standards (e.g., BRC, Red Tractor) is a plus. Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends if required.
