Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a high growth, VC backed Series A Technology business based in London who operate across the UK. With revenues of £15 million, they have ambitious growth plans and are looking for a Financial Controller who can help them automate and simplify financial control and operations and make a real impact on transforming and influencing a scaling business.

Reporting to the CFO, you will be leading a team and play a key role in evolving the financial processes, systems and controls as the business scales. The team are in the office 4-5 days a week in Central London.

What experiences you will gain

• Owning the monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, ensuring compliance and managing key external relationships
• Managing day-to-day cashflow and banking relationships and developing short term and long term cash forecasts and financial strategies to support company growth
• Leading initiatives to improve receivables, payables and inventory cycles and designing and implementing working capital KPIs and reporting frameworks
• Leading optimisation and implementation of financial systems and building scalable processes for reporting and operational finance
• Partnering with the leadership team on budgeting, forecasting and strategic decision making
• Providing key financial insights to drive operational and commercial outcomes
• Building a high performing finance team and the company scales

What background should you have before you press apply!

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
• Experience within a VC backed scaling technology business
• Strong expertise in treasury, cashflow, forecasting and working capital management
• Experience of implementing and scaling financial systems
• Interest in process improvement and implementation of change
• Excellent communicator who can advise and challenge senior non finance stakeholders
