BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Mortgage and Protection Consultant to join our client who are an award-winning group of financial services and technology companies based in Newburn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

About the Role
- Salary based on experience – £30,000 to £35,000
- Working Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm (1hr Lunch)
- Hybrid Working – There will be some hybrid working to this role once training is completed
- Free on‑site parking
- 33 days annual leave, including bank holidays (increases with length of service)

Duties/Responsibilities
- Assess clients\’ financial situations and advise on suitable mortgage products.
- Assist clients in completing mortgage applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the mortgage market and regulatory requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the mortgage process, addressing any queries or concerns.
- Conduct thorough research to identify the best mortgage options available for clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations within the financial services sector.
- Write and provide protection advice.
About you
- Proven experience in financial services, preferably within a mortgage advisory role.
- Must have your full CeMAP qualification.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to analyse financial data effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- A proactive approach to problem‑solving and client service is essential.
- Desirable – Mortgage Advice (CF6) exam and Financial Protection (R05) exam.
