PRS are working with a key international client who require a permanent Head Chef for a prestigous private higher education facility in the heart of Manchester city centre. the salary for the role is £35,000 per annum. As part of an international group there are also extensive company benefits. The role is to lead and manage the kitchen brigade in providing breakfast, lunch and dinner survive for up to 400 students and 150 staff members. Hours for this role are 40 to 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. You will report directly to the Catering Manager. it is essential that you have previous experience as a Head Chef in a contract catering operation, ideally in an educational environment. You must be highly organsied, computer literate, and have the ability to manage a kitchen team effectively. As this is an educational facility, the successful candidate will be expected to complete a full enhanced DBS check before being accepted for the role.
