Are you a Registered Mental Health Nurse who is passionate about providing relationship-centred dementia care, in order to improve the lives of those affected by dementia?, Admiral Nurses are Registered Mental Health Nurses whose hallmark is their specialism in dementia care. They work alongside family carers and people living with dementia, in varied community settings.

Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies, Admiral Nurses seek to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia and their carers. They use a range of interventions that help people live positively with the condition and develop skills to improve communication and maintain relationships.

There will be a mandatory requirement to study for and successfully complete the relevant post-graduate course for the successful candidate.

This post provides an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative practitioner. You will develop your nursing practice within a community setting and build upon your experience of working in an expanding area of mental health nursing. You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.

The service operates Monday Friday 09:00 17:00 and the working pattern for the successful candidate will be discussed at interview.

Full UK driving license and use of own car is essential.
