As an Activities Coordinator, you will organise and plan weekly activities tailored to meet the individual needs of our service users promoting independence and making each day as fulfilling as possible. Examples could include seasonal activities such as paint an Easter egg, design a Christmas card, arts and crafts, music & movement, gardening and attractions outside of the home in the local community. Additional Information:
Albemarle is a specialist dementia home for 42 residents situated in the popular East Yorkshire market town of Hedon. We have three lounges for relaxing, entertaining and socialising. We also have three different areas of enclosed garden; one area having a greenhouse and vegetable planters that service users enjoy.
Rate of Pay: £11.50 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week
Shift Pattern: – Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (some flexibility may be required depending on events)
