Job title: Residential Childcare Assessor Location: Reading, Basingstoke, Winchester, Horsham Job type: Permanent, full time Salary: £35-37k (Dependent on skills & qualifications) The role As a Residential Childcare Apprenticeship Trainer, you will be working with a caseload of apprentices within Residential Children’s Services, supporting, coaching and mentoring them through their apprenticeship qualification up to Level 5 Management. As this is a hybrid role, you will have the flexibility of working from home and facilitating 121 training sessions in the workplace. Whilst working from home, you will be supporting your learners over Microsoft Teams whilst prepping them for your face-to-face visits. You will be delivering the full apprenticeship standard which will include Functional Skills, however there is a huge amount of support internally to help with this, along with a suite of modern technologies which will save a lot of time on admin! The best part, you are only responsible for supporting and developing learners, meaning that all of the typical tasks which take up a huge amount of time are managed by a different team!
