Were seeking a Part-Trained Trainee Electrician to join our team, working on exciting projects across the commercial, industrial, and hazardous area sectors. Our client is a business that strives to help their customers to understand and manage their environmental risks. As a result of their continued growth and success they are now looking for an individual to join their UK wide team of electricians, completing a wide range of electrical duties for customers in the Energy division with a particular focus on Petrol Filling Stations sites across the UK. As a Part-Trained Trainee Electrician, youll build on your existing knowledge by assisting experienced engineers with installations, maintenance, and testing. Youll work alongside qualified engineers on real-world projects, gaining practical experience while continuing to develop your skills and progressing toward relevant certifications, such as CompEx Electrical Engineer (approved). Key Responsibilities include: Assisting qualified engineers with electrical installations, maintenance, and testing at various UK locations. Perform minor civil duties, such as clearing cable routes or drilling, as part of installation tasks. Support testing of circuits and cabling, recording results under supervision. Assist in completing and submitting test certifications and documentation. Prepare and check equipment before work, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Work on-site with customers, maintaining a professional approach and discussing ongoing work. Follow all health and safety procedures, including reading and signing RAMS documentation. Travel nationwide, including staying overnight when required to meet project demands. About you: Partially completed electrical training, with at least 1-2 years of experience and education. Basic understanding of electrical installations, testing, and maintenance. Commitment to developing skills and working towards full qualification. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required. Knowledge of health and safety practices, including RAMS documentation. A valid UK driving license. Right to work in the UK.
