Excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business as a Manufacturing Team Leader.
You will be responsible for leading, training and motivating your team, ensuring production targets are met, quality levels are maintained and improvements implemented where possible.
The role:
·Plan, coordinate, and control the production to ensure products are delivered on time and within budget
*Provide support, training, and mentoring of team members
*Ensure the team is working efficiently to achieve high production and minimum downtime
*Ensure on-time delivery, overtime reduction, and meeting production plan
*Ensure maximum up-time on all production processes and machinery.
*report potential problems quickly and resolve issues quickly
*Support ISO9001:2008 and communicate Quality Standards to your team
*Support the introduction and improvement of SOPs
*Evaluate and improve production processes where possible using 5s and Lean and Kaizen methods
*Ensuring H&S
*People management experience manufacturing
*Confident skills in leading motivating and training staff
*Have excellent communication skills
*Be quality-focused and a good problem-solver
*Previous exposure to modern manufacturing techniques such as 5’s and Kaizen would be of great interest
