EMEA Institutional Services is responsible for managing relationships with institutional clients (such as public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies and sovereign wealth funds) as well as their advisors (such as investment consultants and independent trustees) across Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA). The team also oversees and implements our sales and marketing strategy for the EMEA region.

There are currently 8 members of the team based in London but we are supported by (and work closely with) our Institutional Services colleagues across the globe, especially those based in our headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. We also work very closely with the sales teams of our parent company, Natixis Investment Managers, based throughout the EMEA region.

As the main link to our existing and prospective clients and their professional advisors, the team touches on almost every department across our organisation including portfolio management, trading, credit research, legal, compliance, finance and operations.

What to expect:

  • Support our investment consultant relations and business development teams with regular and ad hoc requests as well as coordinating meetings

  • Assisting with prospect and client events, conferences and entertainment

  • Exposure to consultant research meetings and client investment review meetings, * Successful candidates will be invited to attend an in-person assessment morning at our London office after which a short list of candidates will undertake face-to-face interviews with representatives from our London office.

  • Assessment mornings will take place week commencing 11th March 2025.

If you are an undergraduate looking to undertake an industrial placement who has an interest in working within financial services and has the following attributes, we are interested in hearing from you:

  • Team player with a client-focused approach;

  • Inquisitive and enjoys interpreting information and problem solving;

  • Good organisational skills able to multi-task and meet deadlines;

  • Self-starter who can work to your own initiative;

  • A ‘can do’ attitude to learning and enjoys developing new skills;

  • A good communicator, both oral and written;

  • Proficient with Excel

Our trainee position is a fixed term, 12 month contract paying £25,000. You will also receive private medical and dental insurance as part of your package. The role is based in London and you will receive 25 days annual leave. We are currently working a flexible, hybrid model whereby all those in the London office, regardless of the department they work in, are required to work a minimum of 3 days in the office (Tues-Thurs) at 77 Coleman Street, albeit we encourage more days in the office for those that wish to do so.
