CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join an environmental testing company, at their site based in Maidstone. This is a permanent role with a salary of £25,000 pa. The hours are 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. You must hold a UK driving licence. Laboratory Technician Role: Your main duties will be: Prepare and extract analytical samples and reagents. Perform basic analysis using classical wet chemistry techniques in line with laboratory test procedures. Conduct basic laboratory tests as required. Calculate and record results accurately. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines. Follow quality control procedures to maintain high standards. Input data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Perform calibration and checks on equipment and balances. Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have: A minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Science, Maths and English or equivalent laboratory experience.
