Specification Engineer\\n\\nStarting salary £45k, company car/allowance, 25 days holiday, pension\\n\\nSpecification Engineer – Structural Engineer / Civil Engineer\\n\\nThe Company\\n\\n * My client is an international manufacturing business and brand, with a strong reputation and long-standing presence in the global construction industry.\\n\\n * They offer the opportunity for a 3-4 year post graduate Structural Engineer or Civil Engineer to join them as their new Specification Engineer, working within an established and dynamic team, managing and building the technical and engineering operation and tasks for clients and projects.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\n * As Specification Engineer, you will manage and build the technical and engineering operation and tasks for clients and projects.\\n\\n * You will engineer and design applications based on company software, focusing on performing and supporting anchor design calculations.\\n\\n * Occasional visits to project sites and customer offices to generate technical leads.\\n\\n * Conducting and delivering technical seminars or CPD for key clients, consulting engineers and project offices.\\n\\n * Supporting the technical sales team in the field as and when required.\\n\\nThe Candidate\\n\\n * A Structural Engineer or Civil Engineer Graduate with ideally 3-4 years experience – this position requires an experienced and rounded engineer with confidence in their abilities to lead the technical and engineering activities of the UK business.\\n\\n * Experience in design or construction projects with 3 years plus experience of structural engineering or civil engineering and ideally experienced in understanding of applications and processes.\\n\\n * Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering.\\n\\n * Understanding of structural designs and anchor design calculations along with applications and processes.\\n\\n * A working knowledge of structural engineering software including BIM would be an advantage, but is not necessary – full training on software will be provided.\\n\\n * An understanding of the correlation between technical and commercial aspects of engineering work.\\n\\n * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.\\n\\n * A patient, friendly manner with the empathy and ability to work with others in a team environment\\n\\nIf you are a qualified Structural Engineer or Civil Engineer, with 3-4 years relevant post graduate experience and are interested in joining a global, market leading business, please apply now
