The CSR Group are currently recruiting on behalf of an NI based specialist M&E Contractor with a presence throughout the UK and Ireland. They have an exciting new opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to join and lead their expanding team. The Successful candidate will be based in Co. Down area and the packages on offer reflect the senior position that is on offer. £65 75k plus package As SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for the Health, Safety Environment and Quality management for company and will be tasked with managing a team of up to 12. You will report to the Directors of the company. Duties and responsibilities: Advise management on all SHEQ, occupational health and welfare matters. Provide current advice affecting the health, safety, environmental and quality to all personnel. Manage SHEQ team requirements for our on-site activities. Ensure the company safety systems are followed for delivering projects safely. Manage training matrix, ensuring that all employees certification is up to date. Ensure that personnel at all levels are up-dated on new and revised SHEQ legislation. Carry out full investigations into all accidents/incidents, dangerous occurrences, and issuing reports with recommended action. To develop the companies policies and implement ISOs Ensure the companys 3rdparty Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety accreditations are kept up to date and external management systems maintained. Investigate accidents, incidents and dangerous occurrences and the reporting/recording of these incidents. Assisting in the preparation of risk assessments and method statements in conjunction with management and reviewing sub-contractors risk assessments. Qualifications/experience: Essential NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Must have experience in managing the implementation of ISO and 45001. At least 7 years SHEQ Management experience. NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety. Full driving license. Desirable Qualification in Environmental Management (IEMA). Knowledge of Quality Management Systems. M&E experience.
