Sloane Square SW1 Central London Lovely family with two children is looking for an experienced full time Laundress to start ASAP. Working days and hours: Mon to Sat 10am to 6pm. They can be flexible about the Saturday you can work only half a day if you cannot do full day on Saturdays. They already have a Housekeeper so your duties will be laundress duties only most of the time however they re expecting some help if needed. Flexibility is important in their household. The client travels at least 3 months a year during which time you will only work 3 days a week but you will be paid in full. Duties for the laundress: All laundry including all bedsheets Dealing with different fabrics Tailoring (shortening cutting etc) Sewing Hand washing Ironing Steaming Organizing wardrobes Going into storage and bringing out seasonal clothes while storing last season s clothes etc. Packing and unpacking Dry clean errands The client is looking for someone who is very experienced someone flexible respectful and child friendly as they have a 6 years old and an 8 years old (no childcare needed but someone who is happy to work in a household with children) Requirements Good previous laundress experience in private homes. Good English Attention to detail etc Benefits 40000 gross per annum.
