Engineering Supervisor West Yorkshire £40,000 A very exciting opportunity has arisen with a food manufacturer for an engineering supervisor to drive the performance of the engineering department. The role is solely a Monday-Friday position with zero shift work and standard hours. Key Responsibilities. * Develop and implement the group engineering and maintenance strategy, * Implement and maintain reactive maintenance procedures that prioritise internal customer service and the minimising of equipment downtime. * Implement and maintain a planned maintenance system to reduce unplanned downtime, including spares management and external servicing. * Monitor departmental performance and take action to ensure targets are met. * Lead on investment projects and automation opportunities. * Ensure colleagues (and new starters) are given the training, support and development they need to succeed in their role. * Member of H&S committee * Implement and maintain company BRCGS, HACCP and other relevant procedures. * Carry out Internal Systems Audits (ISAs) and other internal audits.
