This employed, home based Mortgage & Protection Advisor job is within a national financial planning firm that is growing at a healthy pace. As a Mortgage & Protection Advisor within this national IFA firm, you will benefit from a regular flow of mortgage leads for you to service, often with affluent clients. Our client is passionate about ensuring their mortgage clients receive advice on protection products to provide a holistic service to clients.

In addition to the leads provided, it is important for you to be proactive in identifying additional business opportunities to help the business and boost your output. The business is focused on achieving a high retention of clients and team members, therefore has an inclusive team culture. This is a home based Mortgage Advisor role with the majority of advice provided via video or telephone, with some face-to-face client meetings where requested or most appropriate. You will also be supported by their Mortgage Administrators.

Mortgage Advisor Requirements

  • You should be a current Mortgage Advisor with experience of delivering quality client service.
  • You should ideally have 3+ years mortgage advice experience, preferably in whole of market / multi-tied environment.
  • It is important you also have 3+ years protection advice experience.
  • You must be fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent; individuals working towards advanced CeMAP and Lifetime Mortgage qualification would be desirable.
  • You must be enthusiastic for your profession; be forward thinking; do the right thing and actively care for your clients and colleagues.
