An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Healthcare Support Worker based cross site across Ayrshire in Ward 3A/ Oncology/Haematology Day Units & Haematology Clinic.

What you will do:

You will support with enhanced cleaning, stock ordering and rotation & generally supporting patients going through their cancer journeys.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality person centred nursing care and defined nursing interventions, within an In-Patient, Day Unit & Clinic setting to patients living with cancer in Ayrshire.

SVQ2 in Healthcare related subject is desirable but having the appropriate values, experience or competency to undertake role will be taken into consideration and on the job training will be given.

Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ability to show initiative.
