A well-known and successful business in Exeter is looking for someone to join their legal conveyancing team, to work as a Trainee Legal Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a genuine interest in law, or maybe a more specific interest in property law, with the chance to forge out a career within this sector.
We are ideally looking for someone who can come in and carry out administrative tasks. We don't need lots of experience, but we are ideally after someone who either has some work experience within law or maybe an A Level in Law. We're also looking for someone with the ability to learn and the desire to build a career are both important factors for us. In return, the business will offer full training and support, in order to enable the successful candidate to develop their skills and experience.
Tasks will include:
- Supporting the Plot Sales team with administrative support
- Deeds of variation
- Transfers of freehold reversions
- Dealing with general queries from customers
- Other general office tasks
Skills and experience required:
- Ideally either some work experience within law or maybe an A Level in law
- Ideally 3 x A Levels at A-C grade
- An interest in law / property law
- An organised approach
- Good English language skills, including spelling, punctuation and grammar
