We are seeking a Family Solicitor with around 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience to join a small, friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys handling a varied caseload of private family matters and working in a close-knit environment where every contribution counts.

You’ll manage your own files, dealing with a broad range of family law matters, while providing compassionate and practical advice to clients.

As part of a small team of three, this role is hands-on and collaborative, ideal for someone who values autonomy and direct client contact. The position is office-based to maintain close teamwork, though some hybrid flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.

While this role does not offer progression to Head of Department (as the existing Head remains in post), it does provide the chance to take ownership of your work, enjoy stability, and be a key part of a respected local practice.

Requirements:

* 2–3 years’ PQE in Family Law (more experienced applicants considered for part-time)

* Strong communication and client care skills

* Ability to manage a busy, varied caseload independently

Hours: Full-time or part-time (part-time applicants should be more experienced)
Hybrid: Primarily office-based with potential for some hybrid flexibility
