Transactional Finance Lawyer (In-House), London / Hybrid / Remote
£80,000 – £85,000 + Benefits Package
We are keen to discuss a new in-house legal role with those who are classed as Transactional Finance Lawyers, especially those with experience in commercial real estate finance, asset-backed finance, and/or structured finance.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, manage, and execute transactions where the business is appointed to various roles (including, but not limited to, facility agent and/or security agent, servicer, etc.).
- Review and negotiate LMA-based and/or bespoke facility agreements and related security documents.
- Liaise with various Mount Street stakeholders (asset management, compliance, loan administration teams, and senior management).
- Instruct and liaise with external counsel.
- Provide general legal assistance across the business, including advice on various product and service areas (e.g., commercial real estate, corporate, shipping, aviation, other asset classes, CMBS, loan workout, and restructuring).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years PQE gained at a law firm or in-house in financial services.
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent authorisation to practice, e.g., foreign qualified lawyer).
- Hold a current practising certificate or equivalent.
