Are you an experienced English Teacher or an ECT looking for your first role? Excell Supply have been approached by one of the secondary schools in the area to seek a dynamic, passionate, and inspirational English Teacher to join their team. This role has a high possibility of going temp to perm. The ideal candidate will have proven experience teaching English up to GCSE level, with strong organisational and communication skills. As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of students. You will inspire and motivate learners, helping them achieve academic excellence while fostering a love for language and literature. Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task. Manage any behaviour issues that may arise. Follow school policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of student progress. Requirements of a Secondary Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong communication and interpersonal skills The ability to manage behaviour effectively A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate Flexibility and adaptability Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Excell Supply You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
