Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for someone to join them as a Parts Advisor / Parts Administrator. This is a permanent opportunity, following the usual 3 month probationary period. Your duties will be to deal with customer orders of parts, checking inventory, organising goods in, and goods out to be dispatched. You will accurately update spreadsheets and in-house systems. You will liaise with colleagues both in the office, and on the shop floor and parts/stores department. In busy periods you will be required to help other team members with administrative / customer service tasks as required. • Salary is £26,000. • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (2:30pm on Fridays). PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Essential: • You have excellent experience with Microsoft Excel. • You have experience of using in-house software programs / CRM systems (for example; BC / Power BI / Salesforce / SAP / other CRM systems) • You have a combined experience of Administrative and Customer Services roles, including answering regular phone calls. • You are happy to interact with workers on the manufacturing shopfloor environment (as you will work with stores personnel closely to ensure customers get the parts what then require right first time). Desirable: • Ideally, you will have previous experience in a Parts, Goods in/out, Stock, Stores, After Sales (or similar) administration / customer service role. • Experience of working as an Administrator in a manufacturing / engineering / stores environment will be preferred, however we would accept people from a customer facing parts / stock role, for instance; Screwfix / Wickes / B&Q for (example).
