As a Software QA Engineer, you’ll be working in a small, friendly team in Bristol, where you will have a chance to dive deep into mission-critical products where downtime is not an option.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and executing manual (and some automated) test suites
- Evaluating software readiness and performance
- Working with global stakeholders
- Contributing to quality processes and continuous improvement
Who You Are
Essential Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on software testing within a QA team
- Some testing for desktop/computer games or visual software (rather than testing websites)
- Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle in complex technical domains
- Practical experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures
Bonus Points For:
- ISTQB
- Experience with 2D/3D software testing
- JIRA / Agile / Scrum / Kanban knowledge
- Scripting skills (JavaScript / Java / Ruby / Python etc.)
- Windows desktop software test experience
You’ll rapidly develop your skills across a broad range of software tools in a fast-moving environment. From hands-on testing to working within our test automation framework, you’ll be involved in product development from design to completion.
