SAP FICO Consultant - West Midlands, UK (Hybrid: 50% Remote work / 50% Onsite). Start Date: May/June 2025. Permanent (in-house) Job. Up to £80,000/annum Base Salary + Benefits.
Our end client, who is a world leader in the production and discrete manufacturing sector with over 100 years of history, is looking to hire an experienced SAP FICO (Finance & Controlling) Consultant, to take a key role in the roll-out of FI/CO to new locations globally within ECC before moving to SAP S/4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand the needs of the business and take a leading role in making SAP a strategic business solution within the company
- Advise and support the internal customers in making the best choices for deploying SAP
- Play a key role in SAP projects nationally and internationally
- Analyse and optimize the current business processes to the business needs
- Develop and support the current ECC6 SAP system within the FI/CO module, this includes support, work on change requests and play a big role in international projects
- Create and update the requested documentation, processes and policies
- Minimum 1 full implementation cycle of SAP FICO
- Broad functional experience in the SAP FI/CO module
- The primary focus is Financials, but some Controlling knowledge is needed
- You have a good knowledge and experience of Finance and Controlling in SAP ECC
- Very good understanding of master data within the FICO area
- A good understanding of Controlling processes, such as Costing and how production costing is done
- Knowledge and understanding of the business process and interface to other SAP modules
- Excellent communication skills in English and able to bring a message clear and on point
- Travelling is not an issue, and you are able to travel in Europe and globally when needed
- Be open-minded and flexible
