About the Team and Role
This role is part of the Data Architectural Team, led by a senior architect overseeing a team of four Data Architects. This expanding team focuses on delivering cutting-edge data solutions.
The Data Solution Architect will:
- Work hands-on with tools like SQL, APIs, Databricks, Synapse, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS).
- Engage directly with clients, lead projects from a technical standpoint, and solve complex data challenges.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and Business Analysts to ensure project success.
- Focus on practical, solution-oriented data architecture, with a strong emphasis on modelling and designing data-driven solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: A hands-on background as a Data Engineer, progressing to an Architect role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong skills in SQL, Python, PySpark, DWHs, Lakehouses, Databricks, Synapse, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
- Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure, GCP, or AWS (cloud-agnostic but specialised in at least one).
- Client-Facing Skills: Ability to hold technical conversations and lead client engagements.
Salary & Working Pattern
- Salary: £90,000-£120,000 + 12.5% bonus.
- Flexibility: Hybrid working based on client needs, typically 1-3 days in the office per week.
