Finance Director (Fractional / Part time)
South London/hybrid
Our client is a sub £10m revenue, niche, high end luxury retailer led by the Founders, with additional external investment. The business designs exclusive clothing products which are manufactured overseas and sold mainly, but not exclusively, in the UK. They have varied channels to market including renowned luxury retailers, e-commerce, and wholesale. The Founder MD is looking to hire a Finance Director who can work on a permanent, fractional, basis. You will be supporting value creation, growth and overseeing all areas of finance, currently AP, AR and operational accounts are outsourced to a third party.
This is an exciting role for a proactive, ambitious and commercially aware senior finance professional who would like to be highly visible and accountable within a retail business where they can make a real impact and add value. Key requirements of the role:
- Business and commercial partner to the Founder
- Experience of retail in a similar size organisation (sub £10m revenue)
- Experience of D to C retail and e-commerce generally
- Board level gravitas and confidence/presentation skills
- Experience of overseeing a finance function to include the usual financial and management reporting requirements
