Parkinson Lee Executive Search are the retained partner to a High Growth, Global business based in the East Midlands in the appointment of a Group Chief Financial Officer.

Reporting into the Group CEO, you will lead a large international team and have P&L responsibility for several companies within this Group. The company is highly acquisitive and has ongoing plans for additional acquisitions, so your responsibilities and scope of role will in time increase.

As Group Chief Financial Officer, you will work closely with the Group CEO and wider executive team to deliver the exciting growth planned for the next 3-5 years. Additionally, you will play an integral role on all M&A activity and subsequent integrations for the Group. This role offers a unique opportunity for a CFO to create and implement a best-in-practice team structure, systems, processes, and controls that are fit for purpose with the ability to scale as the business grows, here in the UK and Internationally.

  1. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, managing finance for complex, multi-entity businesses, matrix organisations, ideally with an international group
  2. A CFO or FD that is not afraid to influence and deliver change
  3. Expertise in EBITDA optimisation, cost control, and working capital management
  4. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and capital market transactions
  5. Confident and decisive leadership skills, someone who can inspire and engage the finance team, internal stakeholders, and the wider business
  6. A focused individual who is happy to get involved in the detail as and when required
