Job Description
The Nuclear Market Director is responsible for leading the Service Line’s commercial activities within the UK, aligned to the Global Service Line & Regional Business Line Director’s strategic plan. This includes development & implementation of the Service Line’s strategy within the UK as well as order intake targets, new services development and conversion to operations.
Additional responsibilities include the development of financial plans, marketing plans, project methodologies and commercial leadership. The position is a key element in connecting the region & its clients to the global service line & conversely connect the global service line with the region & its specific market dynamics. You’ll collaborate with the UK Country Business Line Director, country & business line commercial organization, tender unit, marketing team and finance as well as nuclear senior colleagues in country.
Support the establishment of an effective country service line organizational structure & skill base to meet the growth ambitions of the service line group in the short & longer term:
- Support the development of the UK-based business plan
- Evaluate & plan for future market conditions & align the strategy to take advantage of any changes or opportunities, industry trends & breakthrough innovations
- Supervise major bids preparation and submission, liaising with all internal and external stakeholders
- Complete commercial evaluations & pricing recommendations with regards to the service line’s activities
- Plan & implement effective strategic marketing campaigns, following both global service line marketing strategies & local marketing strategies
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement within the nuclear engineering function
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of nuclear projects with other company initiatives
Qualifications
- Deep understanding and extensive experience of the UK nuclear industry
- Very strong commercial acumen
- Experience in strategic planning, work winning and execution of projects
- Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.
- Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques. Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients. Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.
- Interactive client presentations, commercial road shows, speaking at conferences and events to promote Egis’s services
- Maintain a profile in the Industry by participation at relevant events and involvement on committees that will assist with business growth and exposure to project a positive and professional company image.

Location: Flexible but Bristol or Manchester as a preference
