To drive food safety and quality standards as part of the Technical Excellence agenda. Lead the development of Quality Systems to ensure they meet the needs of the retailer customer and for the site. Key Accountabilities: Safety is a condition Build a culture of food safety within the area of responsibility. Promote positive behaviours, root causing issues and coaching team members to understand food safety. Ensure that all team members have the appropriate training to do their required tasks in a safe manner. Drive safety improvements though behaviour based safety observations. Technical Strategy Develop technical excellence at all levels within operations, through a programme of training, coaching and mentoring to enable a high performance against Technical Standards. Support the activities that are defined within the Technical strategy, improvement in KPIs and non-conformances root cause analysis. Have strong working knowledge of BRC audit requirements. Support the development of the Quality Management System and ensure it meets business requirements.
