We are now seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across all brands and properties within our group.

Job Overview:

As the Head of Sales, you will take full ownership of the sales strategy, implementation and performance across Criterion Hospitality’s portfolio. You will lead a team of sales professionals to maximise revenue, build long-term client relationships, and promote our properties to corporate, group, and leisure markets. Your role will involve overseeing bedroom and venue sales while fostering collaboration across departments to achieve company-wide commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive sales strategy for all properties, ensuring alignment with the group’s overall business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team, setting and monitoring KPIs to optimise team performance.

Revenue Generation:

  • Drive revenue growth across bedroom sale, and rooftop venues.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, group bookings, and leisure markets.

Market Engagement:

  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, travel agents, OTAs, and event planners.
  • Represent Criterion Hospitality at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand the group’s market presence.

Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry benchmarks to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Analyse sales data and prepare comprehensive performance reports with actionable insights for senior management.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Work closely with the marketing and revenue management teams to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and packages.
  • Foster seamless communication between sales, front office, and operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven track record in senior sales leadership roles with 10+ years within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales across boutique and budget segments.
