As our Bar Manager, you will demonstrate experience in managing bars and training staff to a high standard with excellent levels of service to our guests. Your job is to provide exceptional customer service whilst performing your regular duties, as well as managing a team of bar staff. Guest experience is absolutely paramount, and we ensure we always provide a friendly and welcoming environment for both our guests and team members alike.
Ingredients you can add to the Shaker:
- A personal licence is a bonus for this role, but we will provide you with access to the training if required.
- Coordinate daily front and back of house bar operations.
- Good knowledge of all products sold in the bar and how to deliver them to the highest quality standard.
- Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to any arising guest dissatisfaction.
- Organise and supervise staffing.
- Mentor new staff with the correct operational procedures for the department.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- An understanding of cellar management.
- Experience of cash handling and management.
- A good working knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to public bar spaces and events & licensing laws.

Offering a competitive salary of £27,300 per annum, based on 38 hours per week, working up to 6 days per week, plus incremental and performance pay reviews. We also offer continuous all-year-round employment - we don’t close for the winter months! You also get £50 once you have completed basic Daish's training, and if you refer a friend, you’ll split £100!
Hours include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, with straight shifts of 4pm until midnight. Daish's Hotels are flexible employers and strive to facilitate a healthy work-life balance for Daish's employees.
