Cobalt is seeking a standout Building Manager for a prestigious commercial development in Newcastle City Centre. Home to an array of prominent tenants, this position will see you leading the on-site team at a Grade A office building in delivering a top tier total FM provision for one of the UK leading Real Estate brands. Known for taking the best property talent and taking them to the next level, our client has a track record in promoting from within wherever possible – making this an ideal platform for someone with an eye on senior leadership roles in future. Key responsibilities will include: Line management of the on-site team, including an Assistant Building Manager; Setting and managing service charge budgets; Managing suppliers for hard and soft services in line with KPI’s and SLA’s; Overseeing all planned and reactive maintenance for building plant and fabric – including CAPEX works as necessary; Ensuring full compliance with UK health, safety, and sustainability legislation; Meeting with key tenant representatives, and looking to enhance their experience within the building – including overseeing a variety of events on-site.
