The non-contentious Construction and Engineering team, which sits within our client’s full-service Real Estate group, is looking to grow and is seeking to add an Associate with between 2-6 years’ experience.
The team advises developers, financial institutions, landlords, tenants, purchasers, contractors, and consultants from a range of different industries. The group has recently won a number of competitive mandates, in both the Commercial Real Estate and Engineering sector.
You will be a core member of the team and a key part of the next phase of growth, with considerable opportunity to grow your standing with clients and the wider industry. You will be involved in a variety of high-quality transactions across a range of sectors.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
- 2-6 years’ expertise, gained from a recognised Construction practice.
- Familiarity with the different procurement options for construction and engineering projects and the full range of construction documentation (including experience of working with the industry standard forms of contract such as JCT, NEC, and FIDIC, but not necessarily all of them).
- Delivers legal and commercial solutions and establishes collaborative working relationships with clients and colleagues to provide an outstanding client experience.
- Supports the team to manage the client experience, develops trusted relationships, and interacts with clients confidently.
- Committed to business development to further grow their network and the practice, spotting opportunities and sharing these with the team in order to help build the practice.
- Works efficiently and commercially, and understands the importance of financial hygiene.
- A collaborative approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
