Venari Legal are delighted to be supporting our long standing client who are looking to bring in an experienced Commercial Property solicitor to join their successful team. You can be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow with hybrid working on offer.
The role will be an exciting opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join a growing Real Estate division with a chance to work for some blue chip clients and develop skills which allow you to provide an excellent legal service to clients in the real estate sector.
Key Tasks- Draft, negotiate and complete leases and lease management documents on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
- Negotiate with other solicitors and implement property purchase and sale contracts including carrying out standard due diligence on title and subsequent reporting to clients.
- Draft, negotiate and agree servitudes, wayleaves and other documents supporting third party rights benefitting or burdening landholdings.
- Contribute constructively to the work of other teams within the Real Estate Division.
- Support your team/division business development initiatives, events and internal seminar programme.
- Manage your workload competently, professionally, and cost effectively to achieve client satisfaction and firm objectives.
- Be pro-active in the financial control of all your own matters as the fee-earner, including accurate time recording and prompt feeing.
- Manage your own technical learning and actively contribute to the forum for the exchange of technical knowledge within your team/division.
