We’re seeking a dynamic Head of Business Development for our client – a respected non-profit organisation – to lead their mission and make a genuine difference in the justice and community sectors.
About the Role
In this pivotal role, you’ll be a key driver of growth and innovation. As the Head of Business Development, you’ll craft and execute a robust strategy to secure sustainable income while expanding the organisation’s network of partners. You’ll work directly with commissioners and nurture relationships within the justice and health sectors, creating pathways that amplify the mission to support families and individuals.
Your Responsibilities
* Leadership & Strategy: Lead and inspire a proactive team, guiding the business development strategy to meet income goals and fuel organisational growth.
* Income Generation & Partnerships: Take a hands-on approach in bid writing and partnership development, forging essential relationships with commissioners and funders.
* Team Development: Oversee and grow the Business Development team, with targeted strategies for maximizing income from services such as Family and Significant Others Services, Prison Education, and NHSE initiatives.
* Business Development Delivery: Manage bids, secure critical funding, and expand the organisation’s reach within justice and community-focused services.
* Strategic Networking: Represent the organisation at high-impact events and collaborate with Executive leadership to ensure the mission is achieved effectively.
