Actively recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to join a well-established principal contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality construction projects across London and the South East. Currently recruiting for a Senior Site Manager to join an existing team for a large-scale fit-out scheme in joint venture with a Tier 1 Principal contractor. This role requires a proactive individual who can bring enthusiasm and excellent leadership skills.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations on a complex, high-value scheme. Reporting to an on-site Senior Project Manager and leading a team of Site Managers, you will ensure the scheme is delivered on time and within budget. Since the project is in partnership with a Tier 1 Principal contractor, additional processes and paperwork are involved, so the ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach to these requirements.
Requirements for the role
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager, either with a Principal or subcontractor, managing fit-out schemes up to £10 million.
- Strong technical construction knowledge and leadership ability.
- SMSTS certification.
- CSCS card.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience delivering high-spec residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Ability to resolve challenges effectively and proactively.
- Proactive approach to ensure processes and procedures are adhered to correctly and with enthusiasm.
