We’re looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join us on a short-term contract to help meet a growing demand for reporting and analytics. Following our successful go-live with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) in April, we're now in urgent need of a second expert to support report building and dashboard delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
- Translate business needs into visual and technical output
- Connect to and manage data sources, including Microsoft BC and Azure Synapse
- Create complex DAX measures and calculations
- Set up and manage data refresh schedules
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create mock-ups
- Assist in configuring data flows from our data lake
- Set up API integrations from Business Central
- Manage workspace access and define user roles
Skills & Experience Needed:
- 5+ years’ experience in Power BI development
- Strong DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling expertise
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central reporting
- Working knowledge of Azure Synapse, Data Lakes, and DevOps
- Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams
- Experience setting up and managing API flows
- Relevant Power BI or Azure certifications (desirable)
