A brand new interim role has become available due to an increased volume of transaction work and rapid growth of this fast-paced group. The Head of Tax is looking for someone to take ownership over compliance and reporting as well as support on advisory projects and structuring & due diligence work. The role is extremely varied and looks after all areas of tax; it’s a small tax team so although compliance is outsourced, it requires someone who can roll up their sleeves and get stuck into the detail.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with external tax advisers to prepare current and deferred tax workings and become the key tax contact for the FY24 audit.
- Review and submit corporate tax computations (prepared by external advisors) for all UK entities.
- Responsibility for reviewing monthly statutory filings, to include Group VAT returns and CIS returns.
- Support Head of Tax with tax due diligence and group structuring work.
Ideally, they are looking for someone to start in January. They work very flexibly and typically come to their Central London office twice a week. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing team and high-caliber people. The role will initially be for 6 months, but 12 months is likely. Please get in touch ASAP for more information.
