Join Our Team as a Laboratory Technician! Are you experienced in precision machining and ready to apply your skills in a laboratory environment? Mettis Group is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician (Machinist) to join our dynamic testing team.
In this hands-on role, you'll manufacture high-quality metal test specimens using CNC milling machines, manual lathes, band saws, and other cutting tools. Working within our laboratory machine shop, you'll play a vital part in supporting mechanical, metallurgical, and chemical testing.
Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture test pieces using CNC and manual machining tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Carry out precise measurements using micrometres, calipers, and gauges
- Collaborate with engineers and lab technicians on testing projects
