As a Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic / Vehicle Technician for our clientβs dealer in Hatfield, you will be responsible for ensuring that all service, repair and maintenance work is completed to exemplary standards on a diverse range of models across this market leading brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing, ensuring that every job meets the required standards.
- Ensuring that all repair work is completed to the highest standard and within factory timescales.
- Completing and providing accurate diagnostic reports on vehicles, supplying a clear understanding of what and why a repair is needed to the Workshop Manager/Team Leader.
- Evaluating the condition of every vehicle worked on and, where necessary, reporting and documenting all additional work required on both systems and job cards.
- Liaising with other departments to facilitate the timely and accurate servicing and repair of vehicles.
Qualifications:
- At a minimum, you will need an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3.
- A full UK driving license.
- Your own tools.
