Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven M&E Contracts Manager to join our growing team. Based out of our Slough office, you will oversee multiple Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects across London. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and client-facing skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of M&E contracts, from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and handover, ensuring compliance, safety, and client satisfaction throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the management and delivery of M&E projects across a portfolio of commercial and public sector sites.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Develop and maintain project programmes, budgets, and quality control processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and installation schedules.
- Monitor labour, materials, and subcontractor performance.
- Conduct site visits across London to monitor progress and quality of works.
- Lead contract review meetings and provide project updates to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an M&E Contracts Manager or Project Manager within the building services industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in commercial environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree level preferred).
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (desirable).
