Job Description

Client:

A multi award-winning team of engineers, environmental designers, and sustainability consultants. Their goal is to work towards a regenerative future in which all projects make a positive contribution to the health of the communities that they serve and the planet as a whole. With a clear mission to make an impact through delivering high-performance sustainable design and developments.

As well as working for a world-class building engineering design, analytic and consulting service, specialising in net-zero first thinking, their employees’ careers are carefully developed through peer-to-peer mentoring and training, soft skills training programme, a bespoke CPD programme and an individual development plan backed by a generous training budget.

Role:

As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will create innovative designs and bring them to life, manage design projects, collaborate with clients, partners and colleagues and help grow the business by identifying new opportunities. You will primarily be focused on commercial and education projects although there is opportunity to get involved with other projects. You will be leading teams, consulting with clients and delivering engineering excellence and you should expect to demonstrate competency using Revit, Dialux, Amtech, and IES.

They are particularly interested in candidates with an interest in sustainability and achieving carbon net zero or carbon neutral targets. As an organisation they are driven by low carbon and energy practices and any engineers that share this passion will have access to the knowledge and experience shared by their team of sustainability engineers and consultants. Your designs won’t just power buildings; they’ll empower communities and ignite a brighter, more sustainable future.

From the perspective of personal development they will support you on your career aspirations, and can work with you to gain CIBSE Chartership if you haven’t already. For high performing individuals this represents a fantastic opportunity to progress your career to Associate and beyond.

Benefits:

Competitive remuneration package, wellbeing benefits and an Employee Assistance Programme to provide mental wellbeing support, guidance and advice.

Their new HQ building right above Chancery Lane station offers a modern and attractive workplace, including rooftop garden and dedicated restaurant on the top floor with discount. The entire company works to a hybrid working policy including flexible hours to help people to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
