This is one of a few brand new roles with an exciting and genuinely unique technology start-up company in Cheltenham. They are looking to secure a Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of the development of hardware for their range of products. The company develops telecommunications and monitoring devices for harsh environments across the globe. Essential skills for the Senior Mechanical Engineer are:

  • 3D CAD (any package considered) for products in harsh environments
  • Thermal and stress simulation and analysis tools (ANSYS etc)
  • Material, joinery, sealing selections
  • Integration with software & electronics teams
  • Thermal and non-destructive testing
