The project involves managing the self-delivery of groundworks and associated infrastructure for a mixed-use development. Responsibilities: * Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, and equipment. * Procurement: Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement of materials and services. * Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints. * Contract Management: Review and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to costs, contracts, and project delivery. * Quantity Measurement: Measure and assess quantities of materials required for projects. * Cost Control: Implement cost control measures to optimize project profitability. * Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project finances, including cost forecasts and variances. * Liaison: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Requirements: * Relevant qualification in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably within civil engineering or groundworks. * Strong understanding of construction costs, measuring works, costing design changes etc
