I am recruiting for a Head of HR opportunity with a forward-thinking & dynamic Investment Platform organisation. Longevity & collaboration is at the core of the HR and wider firm’s ethos, which has created a fantastic place to work. The Head of HR will have oversight of the HR Generalist & Recruitment team, owning strategic projects & providing the HR voice on the Senior Management Team. This role will be reporting directly to the HR Director.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR and recruitment departments, ensuring high standards.
- Lead recruitment efforts, improve forecasting, and reduce staff turnover. Monitor recruitment spending and ensure budget alignment. Manage C-Suite hiring.
- Assist in organisational structure, staff retention, and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations cases and oversee communication channels like surveys and feedback.
- Oversee grievance management.
- Ensure managers address performance issues early and follow improvement processes.
- Support the HR Director with salary, bonuses, and benefit schemes.
- Evaluate plans and recommend improvements to the HR Director.
- Ensure company compliance with employment laws and HR policies.
- Stay updated on employment legislation and provide guidance to managers.
- Conduct market research to stay competitive and recommend benefit improvements.
- Implement coaching and succession planning.
- Identify process improvements and support team development.
- Ensure data compliance with GDPR and oversee HR software usage.
- Projects include: office move, apprenticeship scheme development & HR system implementations.
Skills:
- Financial Services experience ideally within small to medium-sized organisations.
- Managing teams across multiple disciplines.
- Working in a collaborative approach.
- Understanding of regulations & changing environments.
