POSITION SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Support Representative will be responsible for customer’s order life cycle, from start to finish. They will provide exceptional service to our customers and potential customers. The role encompasses the preparation of quotations, order entry, liaising with manufacturing locations, invoicing, coordination of projects, ordering of materials, shipment of materials, logistics and addressing customer concerns.
DUTIES:
- Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with customers, distributors, and partners in different countries. Receive incoming customer inquiries, coordinate with sales and applications engineering to develop prospect, develop quotation, follow-up on open quotations, enter projects into and manage open projects in CRM.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate the processing of purchase orders and invoicing through the Mattr ERP System (IFS), coordinate with in-house and toll manufacturing partners for timely delivery. Maintain stock levels, including coordinating with internal and external warehousing teams. Provide quotes, status tracking and reporting for all open international account projects.
- Logistics: Coordinate shipments and logistical activities, including ordering, scheduling and tracking deliveries. Review all open orders and ensure timely shipments with accurate order placement and fulfillment. Work closely with purchasing to ensure product flow and inventory levels. Help troubleshoot problems with customer related issues. Accurately document all interactions in appropriate systems.
- Operations: Adapt our sales and logistics strategies in line with the company's vision and help to implement robust processes to adequately position ourselves for the anticipated increase in volumes over the next few years. Work with other departments, such as marketing and operations to ensure successful sales and delivery process.
- Finance and Accounts: Assist with Accounts receivables in accordance with established company guidelines as required. Ensure all payments received within payment terms.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum College education; Business Administration degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of previous related experience in Logistics.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing preferred.
- Proven sales support background.
- Experience with Incoterms and international trade regulations and logistics procedures preferred.
- Prior experience with ERP Systems & accounting preferred.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Ability to work Hybrid - 3 days in the office - from Derby, UK.
- Expected travel 1 – 2 times a year.
